Echos of Redemption

Verses - Romans 8:1, Psalm 103

The banner of truth that reminds all believers of their eternal security in Jesus Christ. Those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ and have repented of their sins can have full assurance of their salvation [Heb 10:22]. No more work can be done, the price was paid in full. Our sin has been removed from us as far as the east is from the west [Psalm 103].

As J.D. Greer says, “In Christ, there is nothing I have done that could make you love me less, and nothing I could do that would make you love me more.” How great is this perfect love in which He has demonstrated to us. All attempts to prove ourselves righteous are useless in light of the cross. The depth of our sin is shown in the cross of Jesus Christ.

How great of a sinner I must be, if the God of the Universe had to go through the greatest suffering on our behalf, in order for me to be saved. How great a freedom I now have, that the God of the Universe defeated sin and death in our place, declaring us righteous and in favor of a Holy God.
