WHO CREATED THE HEAVENS AND EARTH?

Verses: Gen 1:1 - In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.Gen 1:27 - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.Psalm 139 - For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Main Points- The World was formed out of nothing- The Creation was made perfect.- God created man perfect, in His own image God intentionally created each person with purpose and value,

Out of nothing, but the pure word of an all-powerful God, was the entire world was created [Gen 1:1]. The highest mountains and deepest oceans, all created with such a purposeful design, by a creative and loving God. We look outside and see the sunset or the stars, such beauty that is indescribable. From the Grand Canyon to Mount Everest, the creation points directly to its Creator.

Uphold Me

If God puts this much care and beauty into the design of the world, how much more will He place value and beauty in His children? Part of God’s perfect creation was the creation of His people. Man was made in the image of God Himself [Gen 1:27]. This Creator, who formed the greatest wonders of the world, intentionally created each and every single person fearfully and wonderfully [Psalm 139]. Man was created perfectly by a perfect God. We were created to delight in our Creator, to bear the image of God that He has created us with.

I’ll Fade In Your Memory

 How great a joy that the creator of the universe not only knows us intimately, but has formed and designed us, knowing us better than we know ourselves. Our value and worth is not given to us by the world, by what others tell us our value is, but by the very God who created all things.
